Project:About

Artemis Watch is an independent, volunteer-driven platform dedicated to documenting and raising awareness of animal cruelty worldwide.

Leveraging publicly available records, eyewitness reports, and user submissions, the project aims to illuminate hidden abuses by collecting evidence in the form of photos, videos, and first-hand accounts. Furthermore, it seeks to empower communities through education on how to recognize, report, and prevent cruelty; to support researchers and journalists with an organized, searchable archive of incidents; and to facilitate law-enforcement and other official actions by making information more accessible to the authorities.

While we strive for completeness, we recognize the inherent limitations of a volunteer-driven effort. The nature of the information means that not all submissions can be independently verified, and many events may go unreported or lack sufficient corroboration.
