Background

At 16:12 on August 1, 2025, Xiaohongshu user LY😘闹闹不闹～w (ID:260985256) uploaded a video in which a man could be seen walking in the neighborhood carrying a crossbow. He crotched down by the side of the car, aiming at the cat hiding under the car with the crossbow, then went to the back of the car and shot the cat with an arrow. The cat immediately fled from under the car, but succumbed to its injuries shortly after. The man then used a bucket to carry the corpse out of the scene.
