Background

At 16:12 on August 1, 2025, Xiaohongshu user LY😘闹闹不闹~w (ID:260985256) uploaded a video[1] showing a man walking through a neighborhood carrying a crossbow. He crouched beside a car, aimed the weapon at a cat hiding underneath, then moved behind the vehicle and shot the cat. The wounded cat fled briefly but died shortly after. The man then used a bucket to remove the corpse from the scene.
