According to the circulated information, Wu Deng Ke (吴登科) was born on July 17, 2008, and is from in Taian, Shandong.[1] He previously attended Taian No. 19 Middle School and has worked as a hairstylist.[1] His abusive activities date back to at least May 2024 and have reportedly occurred in Hainan, with later Weixin messages in August 2025 suggesting he had moved to Shanghai.[1] According to a source on Weixin, Wu was sacked before moving.

  • He infiltrates Weixin rescue groups.[1]
  • He posts graphic videos of himself abusing a cat.[1]
  • He contacts a rescuer from the group, provides them with an address, and gives them a deadline to arrive, threatening to kill the cat if they are late.[1]
  • Before the rescuer can arrive, he kills the cat and then confronts the rescuer with the animal's body.[1]

The stated purpose of this "game" is to witness the rescuer's pain, grief, and self-blame, from which he derives sadistic pleasure.[1]
